My comment:
Background: Hemet is one of 2 dozen or so blighted riverside county CA communities which dot the IE( shorthand for Inland Empire),which is a general designation used to demarcate the entire region east of LA and Orange Counties and west/south of the Scal mountains ringing the greater LA coastal basin, and which generally include the western settled portions of riverside and San berdardino counties.
I have been thru this way out exurban former retirement community and even back in 2004-2006 it was not exactly a pleasant place to reside in. Weather is miserable hot, landscape is bone dry/barren scorched earth most times of year, the place is boring as hell with a single main street(Florida Ave)going thru it for entire length of this narrow long town, and it is a monotony of trailer homes interspersed with cheap retail corner malls , cheap eateries and knick-knack ships. The burst of new IE RE developments started in 2006 thru 2007 during height of IE RE boom which of course all came crashing down in late 2007, and resulted in massive IE foreclosures and the attendant blight, which this article only scratches the surface.

Why the left has a monopoly on political violence in USA
There appears to be more and more vicious attacks both verbally and physical intimidation against tea party and conservatives recently. The passage of the disastrous health care bill has stoke up real anger among tea party and conservatives and even a few instances of alleged taunts and even a few window smashings but nothing compared to the much more abundant acts of violence committed by the ultra leftists.
What the MSM ignores is the repeated and more abundant acts of violence by the radical left, such as SEIU goons attacking anti -immigrant & tea partye activists, throwing eggs at tea party buses in Nevada, smashing the office window of Eric Cantor,ect. And of course the amt of taunting and slurs committed by radical lefties against conservatives at rallies are legion and virtually ignored by MSM. Only recorded videos by conservative activists shown on you-tube are only way public finds out the real viciousness of the radical leftist goonies.
Unfortunately the radical leftists can call out far more vicious beasts to do the dirty work of harassing/intimidating conservative activists. 95% of former criminals
favor the Dems, as well as welfare, section 8'ers, demented homeless druggies, inner city gang toughs, rowdy SEIU laborer/thugs, juvenile delinquents, as well as most of the other lower uneducated elements of society. After all these are the dispossessed and property-less who favor radical redistribution of wealth, and will support the party(DEMS), which supposedly promises unlimited welfare and free goodies to the impoverished.
That is why there is far more vicious acts committed by the left than the right. The Ultra-Left/Dem side can unleash the outscourings of the ghettos, including vicious inner city predators, at conservative rallies.
Problem is the MSM chooses to focus on the few acts of violence by the right, as 90% of MSM journalists are themselves leftist-thinking, though not necessarily radicals. Thus the alleged unproven story of the slinging of racial slurs by tea partyers in Wash DC rally, which has no basis in fact, has been rerun repeatedly by the leftist media spinmeisters, with likely approval and assistance from obama/dem plants and their media whores.

U.S. District Judge Jane Boyle of Dallas ruled Wednesday that the ordinance was an attempt to enforce U.S. immigration laws – something the judge said only the federal government can do. The judge also issued a permanent injunction to stop Farmers Branch from enforcing Ordinance 2952....
Mayor Tim O'Hare, the driving force behind the ordinances, said he wants to appeal.'The American people are tired of judges legislating from the bench," he said. "This decision is not unexpected but welcomed, because it allows us to get closer to this ordinance becoming reality.'
But O'Hare said the City Council would have to vote on whether to continue a fight that has cost the city nearly $3.2 million since September 2006. And the city may need to spend an additional $623,000 in legal fees in the year ahead, city finance director Charles Cox said Wednesday."
The attempt by cities to go after illegals thru local ordinances such as Dallas 2952 will be fought by deep-pocketed immigrant rights lawyers/immigrant law attorneys, ACLU,by odd alliance of deep pocketed labor unions & business interests such as apt landlords/big exploiting business/US Chambers,ect. This issue will be joined by several other local anti-immigration ordinances being contested in other cities and will go all way to Supreme Court.

What i am seeing more and more is that to thwart the public will the Hispanic pro-illegal activists and their ACLU allies are turning to the courts to overturn local ordinances, even state/fed rulings against illegal aliens. In process they will BK small cities thru bogus illegal immigration rights lawsuits dressed up and perverted into 'civil rights' lawsuits.

This is a good summation of the consequences of the passage of Obamacare in a dismal economic climate from POLIPUNDIT blogsite.

One shudders at the aspect of the gov't directly imposing a mandate for each and every citizen to get health insurance, or pay an IRS-enforced penalty. This is okay for the 20-25% of the electorate who already are direct recipients of gov't assistance and/or are among the 31 million uninsured and are counting on gov't/taxpayers subsidizing their health care premiums. The middle class and wealthy will be subsidizing Obambacare for the 100 million lower/impoverished classes. What this will do for the US out-of-control deficit and for the already BK medicare system is a whole subject in itself.

LA county is the most impoverished big city in USA with 3 million welfare recipients. Many if not most of these are already on medi-cal/medicaid or receive LA County health relief so will easily slide into obamacare and be subsidized by US taxpayers. Add another 1-2 miilion impoverished/lower working class/laborers, those who have lost coverage due to recession and being unemployed/underemployed, or are currently not covered by their employers, and you will have as many as 5 million new Angelinos eligible for obamacare and 90% of them will be subsidized by US taxpayers. That is half of county poplulation.

Close to 3 million or 30 % of LA county's population is receiving public assistance. Anyone care to rebut my assertion that CA, and LA in particular, is being filled up with poor illegal aliens and their anchors
LA city and county population is 10% illegal alien, and 30-40% of entire county population are recent immigrants(legal and illegal) here less than 30 years. Vast majority in either case are south of border immigrants. LA has 10 million souls which is 27 % of the states population. 3 million of those are on welfare assistance programs. 3 million is more than the population of all but two or three cities in entire US.

Long beach dumping ground for sex offenders & early release paroles
INTRO: My hometown of long beach continues to plummet and is already as degenerated, perhaps even more so, than the state of CA, though LA city is not exactly a rose garden. Looks as if LB will be receiving a fair proportion of the states early release parolee's under the states plan to release 6000 low-risk ex-cons in order to reduce the states massive budget. Heres my take on this, in five segments:
1) Long beach is already infested with more gang bangers and all other assorted outscourings of society than any other city of it's size save oakland so what if we pack a few more early release immates. Long beach, the ghetto by the sea, has a talent for attracting the best and brightest as one can witness by a simple drive down Altantic ave/long beach blvd or along PCH between the west edge of city and lakewood circle.
2)The state and city are dead broke and LB has a 15% UE rate(real UE rate is close to 30%) so the chance for anyone currently UE to get a job is close to zilch. Yet LB is supposed to pony up $ to train and provide outreach programs for the early release criminals.
What is needed instead is a massive training program to teach the few law-abiding citizens left in LB to be street aware, teach self defense courses, provide subsidies for folks to install home and auto burglar alarm systems, ask for federal assistance in installing massive street/park lighting and video survellance systems at every intersection and LB criminal/gang hot spot, pass out flyers/maps with redlined bad areas of long beach, and put clamps on the aclu and crimial defense lawyers so they cannot interfere with the citizens right to defend themselves from the coming LB crime epidemic.
3)What more do u expect from D. Andrews, who represents the poorest LB district, and is only responding to the likelihood of 100's of early release immates soon to inundate his district.
He should blame the corrupt leftist/Dem politicians which create and perpetuate ghettos by their policy of welfare handouts, allowing job-stealing illegals to inundate CA, and having CA be the big sugar daddy and free ATM for the state's 10 million shiftless and welfare spongers, who in turn have created the massive ghettos in his district.
LB used to be called 'Iowa by the Sea'. We can now call it 'Ghetto by the Sea' or 'Oakland south.'
4) My view of the LB political estabishment is that most of them are left wing union-bribed hacks who have PC stamped on their foreheads and go around sprouting 'we are the world' and 'cumbaya'. Ditto for most LA and CA politicians. Union bribed, brought and sold, and **** up/down to minority empowerment politics. The only thing they have in common is their absolute inbecility in practical business matters. LB, LA, and CA are examples of what far left socialist/progressive/union thug/ illegal-alien catering politics do to a city and state: turn it into a BK third world polyglot laughing stock of USA and entire world.

A short purview of LA's ghetto districts
What most folks who are not familiar with LA realize is just how big it is and spread out it is with literally 1000's of densely packed hoods and districts strewn all over the landscape. Much of these hoods are either declining former middle class burgs declined into run down semi-slums,often rezoned into apartment/SFH/townhome mishmashes, or already rotted ghettos. Then there are out and out pure ghetto apt slum districts such as those surrounding DWTN LA and in the 3rd world steaming pile called Northeast San Fernando Valley, and of course infamous South Central LA, but you will find these gang infested graffiti-ed ghettos all over the city.

drastic solution to ilegal alien smuggling
There is only one solution to illegal alien human smuggling. Adopt the China policy and execute a few human smugglers. Better yet adopt a shoot to kill policy against the human and drug smuggling vermin. ICE goes after the illegals in these states likely because there are still strong anti-illegal constuencies there and the illegals/green card hispanics have not become deeply imbedded in those southern states, so the pro-illegal groups such as la raza, mecha ,aclu lawyer clowns are relatively weak in those states.

Here in Los Angeles and in my home city of long beach gang violence is an everyday occurrance. LA Times will not report it most times, except if a latino shoots a black then it become a federal civil rights issue.
The crimes committed by illegal alien gang bangers are wide ranging from ordinary purse snatchings to carjacking to armed robbery of liquor stores.
Much of these crimes are latino gangs battling each other in form of retaliation strikes and drive-bys which almost never get reported but you also have these gangs committing property crimes, vandalism, and robberies against the innocents over the entire city/region. Remember, LA is the origination for much of USA organized drug mafia gang activity and is where Salvador matrucia MS-13 was spawned. It all started in LA in the grimy dwtn and east LA illegal-alien apt stews back in 80's and early 90's before going nationwide at beginning of last decade.
In LA the gang problem is huge and protean, and really cannot be eradicated easily. There are 50,000 hard core gang members and 200 gangs in lA city alone, but add their associates and you boost the total numbers of gangstas in the county to over 100,000, even as high as 150,000, which is a sizable army in many countries. LAPD, LBPD and the other regional Police agencies really cannot get a grip on it and despite media organized PR publicity stunts advertising the success in busting this gang or that they really cannot do much except keep the gangs confined to the nasty inner city stews and protect the few clean middle class suburbs scattered around LA.

preliminary look & analysis of the CA Governors race
I am looking closely at the CA 2010 elections for governor and am narrowing my choices to either Meg Whitman or Steve Poizner. Both are very pro-business and at least will attempt to make CA more business friendly. Steve has come out as the more conservative candidate and has taken a firm stand against illegal immgration,to his credit. This may however end up costing him the Hispanic vote which makes up 10 % of the registered voters, and also may cost him some independent voters.
Meg has carefully avoided taking bold stances at all, and has just kept to sprouting standard anti-tax, anti big-gov platitudes, which is typical for the front runner in any election, which she appears to be at this point. She appears to be a socially moderate, fiscally conservative Republican, more like Arnold our current gov though Meg appears to be smarter and a lot more savvy in organizational/business talents. She also has attacked her opponents vigorously with what some would call negative campaign ads, which is ok with me as this is how politics is played these days, and the far left Dems are well known for attack dog smear politics.,
As for the Democratic candidate Jerry Brown, I will oppose him vigorously as he is just a prescription for more Ca leftist/socialist anti-business policies and he will completely kow tow to the public sector unions, which he boosted to a role as political arbiter in CA politics.
I get the feeling that Meg will be the Repub candidate as she has more wider appeal toward the middle and has lined up most of the big backers. She will also get the benefit of big corporate megabucks spending which has become unleashed with the recent supreme court decision. If she does become Brown's opponent she will win because all Californians are sick of the liberal socialist failure of CA and it's careless spending and big tax hikes/looting of taxpayers and want a repub to oppose the tax happy spend and loot Dems who are now in control of CA.

Here in the local forests outside LA there are pot farms in abundance, and they are popping up all over the SCal hilly regions of Riverside, San Berdoo, and San Diego, and even in the Cleveland National forest of Orange County. Not much can be done about it because these NF lands are very lightly patrolled by park rangers in the remote back country expanses.

Also the increasing acceptance and use of pot in liberal 'progressive' CA has fed this explosive increase in pot growing. There are also large pot growing operations in the northern CA mountain and coastal regions but they are likely run by the local inhabitants.
Implications for LA/SCal region of these pot growing operations:
Is it not surprizing that we hear about these big pot busts inside big Mcmansions in the outer exurbs of LA and the IE? There have been qiute a few recenty in areas such as city of industry diamond bar, hacienda hts, SGab valley, walnut, rowland hts, as well as out in the IE. . Not to mention big busts of pot farms in the local mts. Is greater LA basin becoming a third world corrupt region like Mexico/ tijuana , with local/ imported drug cartels, city street drug runners, large- scale marijuana growing operations?. Or is this just a commonplace occurrance for a large mostly third world ghettoized city like LA , which after all is the
focus and world leader of so many illegal imported or home grown criminal syndicate operations, due in large part to a large tractless undocumented population which can conduct its illegal activities using forged/fake /stolen ID docs and identities and easily evade law authorities by slipping in and out of the border.
I further submit the claim that Ca and local city gov'ts have not a clue or simply do not care , and/or are isolated in their cubicles and simply do not have any street knowledge, or may even in a few cases be in on the action.
LA civic leaders have their heads so far up the arse that they cannot see the problem even if it sat on them. T o illustrate, back in the 80's-90's every illegal who came across-an estimated 10 million- went straight to Macarther park in westlake district to get fake green cards which instantly gave fabricated right- to- work doc's. Then the program is a joke. LA County has at least 50 separate local police agencies and Scal must must have over 100. I know of only 2 or 3 OC county PD's out of the total which are participating. LA county likely has no agencies participating. The reason is political pressure from the powerful pro-illegal city unions and their politician puppets here in LA.
The far left radical appointees in the Obama adm have effectively emasculated these and other law enforcement tools to go after illegal immigrants who have entered into US illegally. They make a show of the few criminal alien sweeps to assuage the gullible public but otherwise have shown that they will not touch the average illegal even at the worksite working illegally.
Checking the status of illegal immigrants at the local municipal level here in LA is a lose-lose proposition in the illegal alien-infested 3rd world clownhouse called LA. No politician in CA of any stripe will support this, and most of the local PD jurisdictions are so infected/inhibited by the prevailing far left Union-thugacracies which view going after illegals like handling hazardous waste-they will not touch it.
