Checking on immgrants status in our local jails-a complete joke

"A program initiated about 15 months ago allows jailers to check immigration status in two federal databases, but only 110 law enforcement agencies are using the program, Morton said. The goal is full participation by the end of 2013."

Then the program is a joke. LA County has at least 50 separate local police agencies and Scal must must have over 100. I know of only 2 or 3 OC county PD's out of the total which are participating. LA county likely has no agencies participating. The reason is political pressure from the powerful pro-illegal city unions and their politician puppets here in LA.
The far left radical appointees in the Obama adm have effectively emasculated these and other law enforcement tools to go after illegal immigrants who have entered into US illegally. They make a show of the few criminal alien sweeps to assuage the gullible public but otherwise have shown that they will not touch the average illegal even at the worksite working illegally.

Checking the status of illegal immigrants at the local municipal level here in LA is a lose-lose proposition in the illegal alien-infested 3rd world clownhouse called LA. No politician in CA of any stripe will support this, and most of the local PD jurisdictions are so infected/inhibited by the prevailing far left Union-thugacracies which view going after illegals like handling hazardous waste-they will not touch it.

A tribute to this blogsite

Welcome to my IED laden, explosive, rather unpleasant and certainly controversal blog site. It is dedicated to dismantling and tearing apart CA and especially Los Angeles, the city which which i know all to well., including it many seedy parts. La has descended in about 30 years into a extremely gritty 3rd world cesspool, at least large parts of it. I know because i have traveled all over it as a driver and seen every bit of it.

If you do ever visit LA as a tourist or just passing thru it there is not much here, and the few attractions are spaced far apart and a trip to these attractions involves going thru hellish traffic and hellish slums. No different than Mexico City or Tijuana. The landscape is bleak and often barren in large parts of LA, sort of a monotony of strip malls, broken ghetto apt districts , graffitied freeway overpasses, bleak gov't welfare offices, ect. And always the immigrants. LA is above all a largely immigrant community. Most of these are poor and from Latino countries. They bring little to LA except their poverty.
